About this tool
Merging usually means uploading sensitive paperwork such as ID scans, bank statements or signed contracts to someone else's server. This tool does the same job inside your browser tab using the open-source pdf-lib library, so the files never travel over the internet.
Each page is copied into the new document exactly as it was, which keeps text selectable and images sharp. If you need only some pages from a file, use Split PDF first and then merge the result.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. The merge runs entirely in your browser. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it will still work.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no upload limit because nothing is uploaded. Very large files, in the hundreds of megabytes, depend on how much memory your device has.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not yet. Open the file in a PDF reader, remove the password, save it, and then merge it here.
Are links and bookmarks kept?
Page content, text and most links are kept. The bookmark outline and fillable form fields may not carry over to the merged file.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Open the page in Safari or Chrome, tap the box to pick files from Files or Google Drive, and download the result.
