ToolboxHere is a collection of free tools for everyday jobs with documents, images and text: merging PDFs, converting iPhone photos, pulling text out of screenshots, checking a CV against a job post and more.
Why we built it
Most free converters upload your files to their servers. That is a real risk when the file is a passport scan, a bank statement, a signed contract or your CV. Browsers are now powerful enough to do this work on your own device, including running AI models, so we built tools that never need your files to leave it.
What makes it different
- Private: files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
- Free: no accounts, no watermarks and no daily limits.
- Multilingual: text recognition for English, Arabic and Urdu, with right-to-left text handled properly.
- Fast: no waiting for uploads or downloads from a server queue.
Who makes it
ToolboxHere is built and maintained by Saad Naeem, an AI engineer with nine years of experience in machine learning, computer vision and document processing. The tools use well-established open-source software such as pdf.js, pdf-lib and Tesseract; see the licenses page for the full list.
